Though technically, virtually all my ancestors migrated from Switzerland to Germany after the 30 years war and the plague (because everyone in SW Germany was dead), so almost all the last names in my family, including mine, are of swiss origin. There has been a bit of France and Germany mixed in over the course of the last 400 years, naturally.
