Here in San Antonio Texas there has been a bunch of billboards around the city telling people to mark it on their calanders. (I guess in case you forget about the end of the world. :eyeroll: )
Gives a website, something like 'wecanknow' or 'youcanknow' .com

There is no "year 0". I think that's what throws the math off.
Now, how they figure 4990 BCE is a good question.
