Welcome! Charlie's angels, maybe?
You may be onto something...

Be sure to barbecue kittens, record the NFL without their permission and rip the tags off of your mattress.

I'm vegetarian as well. You sound more like straight edge there though
Kudos for the Hummus, excellent choice. I always put Cumin, a bit of Garlic and Lemon juice in.

I suppose I am very straight edge. The only drug I really take is coffee on occasions and tea, which has caffeine of course.
I am a big fan of eating healthy, if you research the healthiest foods in the world you get a list of basically the produce isle in your grocery store.
I also like to add flax seed, olive oil, raw unsweetened cocao powder, greek yogurt, and I am always experimenting with different seasonings and combination of food, I don't really use recipes. I sometimes fail miserably LOL.
I really like avocado with pan cooked vegetables and kale, I eat that every day, and a sweet potato with two table spoons of olive oil every day for breakfast, oatmeal with blueberries flax seed, coconut and vanilla extract. That and roasting garlic is about the only thing I cook consistently which sort of resembles a recipe.
I use cumin a lot on my vegetable omelettes.

Welcome matey...
Have you suffered from vegetarianism your whole life?
I counteract that debilitating disease with regular shots of "bacon"!

I counteract that debilitating disease with regular shots of "bacon"! I usually don't call myself a vegetarian, because technically I will still eat fish or lean cuts of bison or venison, but that's so rare it's easier to just call myself a vegetarian. I think what I really am is someone who's very health conscious, so if it answers your question, yes I have been extremely health conscious for since I was very young. It started more as an obsession with being thin though, but sort of evolved into a healthier appreciation for the benefits of healthy eating. I look up the vitamins and minerals of the food I eat, so I can get the most nutrient dense foods and make sure I'm getting everything I need.
I won't eat bacon, it's not healthy.

The science shows that there are no miraculously healthy individual foods, a varied diet of mostly plants is best for your health if my sources are correct.

Don't forget fat. For the longest time to get fat in my diet, I'd put a large slice of whatever cheese I found at the grocery store in my sweet potato. Ever since I switched to putting two table spoons of olive oil in my sweet potato, I feel like it's improved my over all mood, made me feel more clear headed and less stressed. I try to get two table spoons of olive oil and an avocado every day. Fat is very important from what I've heard and experienced, brain function and digestion.
