Ah, believe me I never enjoy the blood and guts. But you will feel what I feel if you lived in Egypt for example. Have you heard about this story? http://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/ap...airo-egypt We -Middle Eastern people- live in this hell. You never saw Egyptian police, you never experienced the horror of being harassed on a checkpoint under the threat of a gun barrel, knowing that if you ever talk, you'll get tortured, killed, and probably your family will get hurt too. There's even one of that society, who advertised the butchering of all Egyptian Muslims, he preached that on this forum; and guess what: many like him are already in the army, cops, have weapons, they torture, they kill. No..I don't enjoy the details..I enjoy the feeling of avanging the fallen. Giulio regeni seems like a decent guy..I knew a British guy in Egypt who was interested in politics too..I hate to see him thrown dead like this.. My kin die everyday like this.. I can't explain it..but believe me, it's mostly just a defense mechanism. I'm just wondering what makes your enjoyment of someone's suffering any different from that of the person you're exacting revenge upon. How does sadism become acceptable when it's done for the sake of revenge? But you weren't talking about avenging the fallen of some particular political conflict, you were talking about how you're upset by the idea that people you consider immoral aren't subjected to an eternity of conscious torment.
I am John Cena's hip-hop album.

That's the old stupid angered by god argument in a new guise. Honestly, the last time I was angry at god was when I was little and still believed in fairies, ghosts and unicorns. I considered him to be an asshole for everything written in the bible, but since ass was a dirty word, I didn't call him that. Can't be angry at something you don't believe exists, though. Can't misunderstand it either. The facts are piled up against religion and it takes some serious mental acrobatics to still stick with Adam and Eve and accept evolution, the real age of the world and the universe and still make a case for the Christian god. Unless he worked his way up from being amoeba god to dinosaur god, until he found his ultimate calling in becoming human god. Religious like everyone else? Well, maybe a Eurotrip might be in order. Might open your eyes to how everyone else is religious outside your little - American, I assume - bubble. All 78,000+ christian denominations, sects and schisms at the same time, or just one of them ?? And if just one, which one ?? We've had a lengthy interest in the One True Faith here for many years. It would be nice, finally, to get that pinned down. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.

Oh, as an atheist everything makes me angry.
I wake up and scream at my bowl of cereal every morning. "Stay crunchy, you motherf*ckers!" (April 28, 2016 at 7:26 pm)Thena323 Wrote: Oh, as an atheist everything makes me angry. Angry atheist? I actually said : Quote:It seems fair to see the commiters of Hiroshima and Nagasaki pay. It seems fair to see the criminals of WW2 pay. It seems fair to see serial killers pay. It seems fair to see pedophiles pay. It seems fair to see the saudi royal family pay. It seems fair to see the pain of poor people rewarded. It seems fair to see another life for those who lived under the truck in this one, because some fat cats decided to take their wealth to grow fatter and fatter. I gave 4 examples which are related to politics ( the atomic bombs on Japan, WW2 warcrimes,Saudi royal family, people thrown to poverty because of the global economical system), and I did indeed emphasize on the "reward" and my enjoyment of seeing good people get repaid for what they did. Yes, I have no problem in seeing somebody going to hell after seeing this image: Just look at their eyes: That is food thrown in the garbage; BTW. https://eyreinternational.wordpress.com/...t-7-final/ It's not rocket science. Do you know how it feels to be hungry? Or how it feels to be tortured for years in a stinky Egyptian prison? Hell is justified. Islam is so perfect, because God made a hell for such people. Throwing rivers of food into the garbage, while ignoring the screams of children dying from hunger; shut the borders under the excuse of "nationalism", Then come brag about human rights, nah, I can hear the screams.. and it haunts me |
