To me, atheism is materialism or wish to life comfortably. I wish for comfort.
Theist goes beyond comfort in to irrational realm of self-sacrifice. I dislike such idea.
It doesnt matter what you believe. To be called a theist, you have to live a very bitter lifestyle.
So what you are saying is you would be a theist if it was easier? So you are an ex theist even though you believe and you think that is a good platform to tell both atheist and theists what they should do, think and how they should act

It doesnt matter what you believe, because it doesnt require effort. To be called a theist, you have to live a very bitter lifestyle.
You do realize that you're using a definition no one else uses, right?
Atheist = lack of belief in god/gods
Theist = belief in god/gods
That's it. Any lifestyle choices beyond that may be informed by where one is on the atheist <----> theist line, but they're not attributes of that belief or the lack thereof.
Put another way, if you believe in a god, you're a theist. It doesn't matter how you choose to live. The belief in a higher power makes you a theist. Period.

Yes I think this puts it better ..... you are among the theists that live as they want and if you think you are about to die you will suddenly ask for forgiveness but in the mean time you will spew your views on people that have actually taken a position

Do you even know what you're talking about? A simple yes or no will suffice.
Atheists murder when they are exteremly desperate because often at those times their own morale code breaks and they become animals.
Evidence for this base assertion or shut the fuck up.
You won't even state which side of the argument you're on, but you feel free to take pot shots like this. You, sir, are an asshole.

As I predicted, he can't even pick a side. He's on the superior yet non-existent middle ground.
He may think theist means being religious however. That would explain it.

I raised the same objection, somehow I doubt he'll address it.
Yeah, you and Kevin both got there first, I'm catching up on my phone. And I agree, looks like he's gonna Fred Astaire the whole point.

"I am an atheist".
Then maybe you'll realise that you're playing in the same mud we all supposedly are. Maybe you don't even have a problem with that. But if you don't, I wouldn't understand your reluctance to say the actual word.
I have met very sincere religious people. Those monks and their students had a very idealistic and noble goals.
And after meeting such unique personalities, who sacrifice so much for abstract ideals, I simply cannot say - God is a delusion. Quite the opposite, after seeing such sacrifices, im sure now that there is a God.
The problem is that, just like, Lucifer, couldnt bare the weight of idealistic life, I cant even look at It. But it doesnt mean I dont believe it exists.
Honestly, I would like if there is no God, because that way I wont have to possibly answer for all the laziness, lustfulness, greed, anger I have in my life. But at the moment I cannot not believe.
Sacrifice is no metric of truthfulness.

I wanted to see what was atheism all about. Now I know that there is an invincible position of "show me the evidence".
I dont remember making the only possibly painful statement like "obey my God or burn".
About prisoners being religious. When you ruin your life, its very easy in prison to start searching comfort in religion. How someone can seriously try to practice 10 commandments and commit serious crimes at the same time?

But you never addressed FAF, Kevin and Thumps point.

On the other hand theistic people fueled by fear in God often evade such catastrophe.
That isn't borne out by American prison demographics.
