Damn, physicists don't have freetime at all for games?

Physicists with kid(s) is an additional complication. I would in principle, I just have too many hobbies that are already hard to accomodate. Writing, making music, astronomy, reading. Playing computer games don't make the list for the forseeable future...

Right now, I'm learning rudimentary improvisation with jazz chords, but mainly I'm struggling my way through a Bach fugue on the piano. I have guitars but only basic skills on them. When I was in school I used to make electronic techno-like stuff using tracker software. I feel tempted to try some electronica with classical elements again - technology has improved a lot since the last time I tried.

Oh, that's actually quite nice hobbies. I have so much freetime and I spend most of it on games ;_; I should pick up drawing again and I've wanted to learn to play that damn guitar for some while but I always end up playing video games. Good on you for picking up multiple hobbies, you'll turn out wiser and smarter than us or me at least 

It's kind of my curse that I'm interested in too many things.

I love cannons though, they're so mathematical with all the recurring themes and shit. :-)

The little fugue sounds like fun but also too hard for me for the time being. The first counterpoint of the Art of Fugue will keep me occupied for a few more weeks until I can play it through ok. I wonder what next - one of the easier movements from a suite or partita, if there is such a thing...

Well, I'm learning to play jazz, and I've done a fair amount of electronic music (Fruity Loops).  So pretty much anything.
