If your child had ethnic hair and it was very tight and coiled and matted easily, would you learn everything you could about how to manage your child's hair or would you just say fuck it and subject them, at a young age, to a chemical relaxer, knowing your child is tender headed and difficult and won't sit still in a chair for two fucking hours?

Because of this one incident, I am seriously thinking about dropping from the program at school. I am beyond stressed out and not only was I frazzled, but so were other clients in the salon tonight along with other students. Yet I'm the one who fucking gets yelled at because apparently some of the other students didn't like the fact that I was, according to the teacher, making demands on them. First of all - I was TOLD other students would be assisting me. NOT taking over my client. Second - if you're going to come up to me and ask me if there's anything you can do and I say yes, don't you fucking dare whine like a goddammed five year old to the teacher saying I was being demanding. If you really don't want to help then don't fucking offer. Simple as that. And yes. I was stressed because I was listening to a child scream and cry for two hours. So don't act all fucking butthurt because my tone of voice wasn't all pleasant and cheerful. If you cannot understand the amount of stress I was under and that my nerves were fried, then fuck you. Just fuck you. And fuck you some more for not being adult enough to come to ME directly after the client had left and pull me aside and talk to me about how I hurt your fragile little feelings. I would have been more than happy to talk to you about it. You wanna whine about that well think about all the times I haven't gone to the teacher after watching you literally sit on your ass all evening hiding out in the break room, and then when 10pm comes, you punch out and sneak out the door without being a team player and offering to help clean up. Yeah - bunch of spoiled little brats who don't know what team work is - I'm talking to you. Grow the fuck up for a change.

I don't know why some parents feel such a need for their kid's hair to be neatly styled anyway. If your kid is 5, they really don't care how their hair looks yet.

Kim Kardashian's daughter is another one. Hair scraped back into a super tight bun in every single photo we see of her. Her poor hairline, it'll be destroyed by the time she's 10.

Subjecting a child that young, who hasn't even hit puberty yet, to a chemical relaxer, where the relaxer chemicals can burn the fucking skin, should be viewed as child abuse. Letting that child scream and cry because it burns, because they wouldn't sit still so the base cream could be fully applied is just deplorable and cruel. My god, if you honestly can't maintain your own kid's hair, keep it short or keep it in braids. Also - not washing your kid's hair for three to four weeks at a stretch is really disgusting.
