He he. I know you're having fun, but think the following is closer to the truth (with much worse odds of course).

Now that Angelia is back in play, my odds of shagging her have just doubled...twice nil.

It makes no difference Brian. She may escape Pitt, and my odds IRL may remain nil.  But she'll never escape the Spank Bank, and that ATM pays every time.  Angel

Know what else is tragic? Being hitched to the wrong damn person, for the wrong damn reasons.

Talk about a reason to cry!

I'm not saying a bad marriage, even if it stays intact, isn't also a loss of love and thus isn't also just as tragic. But I can't comment on that since we hardly ever know when loss of love happens until/unless there is a divorce.

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

Oh...loveless marriages are a thing; staying together out of convenience or necessity. I've seen aplenty. Sometimes they devolve into horrid, miserable unions; sometimes it's just a matter of dreary acceptance.

I would agree that it is sad when love dies, though.

Someone should probably write a song about that. Big Grin

As Bella was saying earlier. It's only news because it's public figures. If it were Joe and Jane from Asswipe Street, noone would give a damn. Let's just say I'm as impressed, saddened and interested as if it was indeed about Joe and Jane.

I see nothing wrong with divorce. I think it is horrible to have unreasonable expectations to stay in loveless marriage. I've seen plenty of bitterness an even affairs  and using children as pawns. The adult thing to do is part with no animosity

I think loss of love in a marriage is always tragic, regardless of whether it leads to divorce or not. Divorce is simply the result of that.

That's all I meant by my comment.

Nobody likes rejection but why does it have to be viewed as tragic? You don't have to be dreamy eyed idealistic to appreciate what you had and learn from it and move on
