Hadn't thought of fred hollows initially, good choice.
I too am a fan of the comedians, Calin, Gervais. Youtubers (or at least those who I found on youtube/only know from youtube) Pat condel & Jeff Dee (Jeff Dee>Matt Dilihunty by a mile)
Edit: By a kilometre. Metric shall conquer all! Mwuhoohahahahahaha!

Bill Maher has not come out and said he is an atheist. In fact the way he speaks it sounds more like he is a deist or pantheist.
George Carlin, on the other hand, has flat out publicly proclaimed that "there is no God".
Actually..when he goes into his "something is fucked up" skit, it is EXACTLY the philosophy of absurdism. I would claim that Carlin was also an Absurdist as well.

This is EXACTLY what I expect an atheist to sound like. Carlin is an atheist.

Sagan, Bertrand Russell, Carlin, Harris, Dawkins, and my friend J T Eberhard. For those of you who don't know him, do look him up. JT works for the SSA, mainly working with high schools, he's co-founder of the Missouri FSM. He makes us proud.
"In our youth, we lacked the maturity, the decency to create gods better than ourselves so that we might have something to aspire to. Instead we are left with a host of deities who were violent, narcissistic, vengeful bullies who reflected our own values. Our gods could have been anything we could imagine, and all we were capable of manifesting were gods who shared the worst of our natures."-Me
"Atheism leaves a man to sense, to philosophy, to natural piety, to laws, to reputation; all of which may be guides to an outward moral virtue, even if religion vanished; but religious superstition dismounts all these and erects an absolute monarchy in the minds of men." – Francis Bacon

Richard Dawkins - Gave me the courage to lable myself atheist
George Carlin - Wonderful and brilliant
Jim Jefferies - Owns religious people, even whilst very, very intoxicated
Pat Condell - No-nonsense kind of guy
Stephen Fry - ..I have a thing for "old", posh, British atheists, don't I?
My Dad - A wonderful parent who encouraged me to think for myself
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Mine has to be Ricky Gervais. He's hilarious and has exactly the same views as me for exactly the same reasons.

My favorite atheists are many I love George Carlin, Sam Kenison, Penn and Teller, and James Randi. The usual ones Dawkins, Hitchens, Dennett, and Sam Harris. But I am more partial to the atheists of old such as Robert G. Ingersol and Paul Henry Thiry aka Baron D'Holbach. And many many more!

George Carlin used the quote, there is no God: under the context of his comedy routine. George also has publicly announced he does not belong to any Group and he said he has never claim to be an atheist.

Although I don't always agree with him. I always find the Hitch entertaining and informaative, whether he's speaking or writing.
