And NO, I'm not complaining - I'm far from it! I don't give a shit about these messages. My immunity against religion has made me impervious to any violations on my mental health and therefore I'm immune against "there" (according to their bad spelling) attempts to make me suicide. But I can't help and wonder whether the USA isn't going down the road to another civil war. Because this internet aggression will eventually escalate into a physical one. A bunch of people will try and kill everyone who's different, the different ones will defend themselves and here it is - a civil war.
If this is happening merely days after the election of Donald Stump, I don't even dare to imagine what will happen before the end of his mandate.

To be perfectly honest, I wouldn't be surprised if we were on the verge of another Civil War. Back in 2010, I went to Springfield and went on the requisite Lincoln Hajj, the museum, the Old State Capitol, his law office, his home, his tomb, New Salem, and a select group of the most interesting-looking gift shops [namely, the one on Seventh Street in some dude's basement and the one on the way to the tomb] . In the Lincoln Home visitor center, I remembered seeing CD re-enactments of the original 1858 Lincoln-Douglas Debates (with David Strathairn as Lincoln and Richard Dreyfus as Douglas), and, while I didn't buy it right then and there, I did end up listening to it later, and I found myself listening to the speeches and thinking "My God, Douglas, with his paranoia and seemingly exaggerated reactionariness, sounds exactly like the Tea Baggers." And with open race-baiting becoming mainstream in the intervening years, while I don't think they're actively working towards a second civil war, it certainly feels like they're okay with it.

Also, I think it might be good to change your profile picture or at least make a crack about the people who seem hell-bent on assuming you're black, when you're not.

I wish I could find that clip from 1776 where Ben Franklin says calling him an Englishman is like calling an ox a bull, but here's the transcript.

Fuck them! I'm not gonna change for anyone! My profile picture (see below) clearly says it's not me on it, so if they think otherwise, the obvious lack of brain is their problem, not mine.

I can't. They're sending the messages from profiles that can't be clicked - as if they don't exist. The name is always "Facebook user" and that's it. There's no clickable name, no profile that can be viewed. Idk how can anyone send a message on Facebook without actually being a user.
