Faith is the flash a good heart sends, screaming with hate to the sickness, the more it flashes the more it burns infection. Life is a mere rain came down to soak plants for a tiny period, one that is followed by an autumn; it only matters for the heart to flash well enough to see that.

It always amuses me how faith is seen as the righteous path, as a virtue, as something to be desired....

I would call it a strong message. Thousands of years, and the echo of theism still rings.

But humans are known to say that to any source that says what they don't like; take the bully kids in school who used to torture Teacher "pants-on-board" for not having being bald. But they truly just hated him for teaching Biology.

Humans love delusion. They even call it "fantasy".
There's even a known verb: "fantasizing".

Faith can't be distinguished from other fantasies; but a believer would say "I woke up and there was just too much that keeps pushing me back into the fantasy. Looks like it's not a fantasy; this is a reality !"

God will not come down of heaven riding a golden calf to wipe the tears of your sad week, angles would also not come flying to scare your enemies.

So the disaster happens. One thinks that a day or two in obedience to what the deity said, would rain flowers from the sky. But that doesn't happen. Instead, a bigger disaster might come. Religion then becomes a tag-team with misery.

God is merciful. But he created pain itself. He's not a Zues or a Gaia. He is God. Religion can be hard. Especially if dicks hijacked it through Islamic and Christian and Jewish medieval churches; religious cartels.

It's all about patience. It takes lots to learn that. But thank God, life isn't eternal.

I never said anything about expectations. Projecting much? I think two decades was enough for my patience. I'm not going to waste the rest of my life on woo that made me more suicidal than I've ever been. It will end up being a very short life.
