Time wasted

RE: Time wasted
About 20 years, though I wouldn't really say it was wasted. It was a learning experience, like much of life. I was lucky enough not to be brought up in one of the bad churches, or raised by some hard fundy that wanted to beat the demons out of me. I won't complain.

Good video to watch, if you want to know how common the Jesus story really is.

RE: Time wasted
I was pretty much a believer up to about 3 years ago, then for two years I kind of believed but saw a lot of the ridiculousness. Last Summer I totally became an Atheist.
So all in all I was Christian for about 20 years if you don't count when I started having serious doubts.

The years weren't entirely wasted, but it would have been nice if I had been doing all the things most average people do and that most people my age at my former Church were doing with or without their "faith."

Also I often had feelings of guilt for not being able to follow Christianity rules which can't actually be followed.
