In the minds of many Americans, it is a GIVEN that white lives matter. They need to be reminded or worse yet, convinced of black folk's individuality and humanity; that "The Blacks" aren't simply troublesome, violent herd animals, fit to be profiled, corralled, and put down unceremoniously, without repercussion.
I think you know and understand all of this just fine, Kitan. I won't speculate as to why you pretend you don't.

Considering that the slogan being discussed came about as a result of cops shooting unarmed black people and suffering little or no consequence for it, I don't think the phrase can be logically termed 'racist'. If news reports are any indication, the police and the courts in the US seem to have taken the position that black lives don't matter as much as other lives. The slogan is simply a reaction to that.
