What do you guys think about this video?

It's OK for what it is, but I think it oversimplifies addiction motivations. I had several friends when sticking the needle in, I was connected, didn't stop me from sticking the needle in. 

Being connected to your society/social set, what exactly is that? Being loved, accepted, tolerated, ................ a small set of emotions That is a small set of many emotions (lack there of) that can fuel addictive behavior. What about fear, self centeredness, ego, resentment, grief, depression, anger, boredom,............... and many many more. Those can also be driving factors for addictive behavior that the vid did not address. 

If you have an addictive mind (for what ever reasons) then you can become psychologically addicted from the first or first few exposures to your drug of choice. I loved opiates, cocaine never did much for me.

BTW, people can become physically addicted to opiates within about 3 days (not the 20 days in the vid). The with drawl won't be all that bad, but there will be with drawl symptoms. If you had that with drawl and I offered you nothing or the magic pill you'd probably pick the pill.
