In truth in 1938 Hitler separated from the church at Rome and sentenced anyone (at first to banishment) and ultimately death for worshiping God through the church at rome.

Fact is Hitler showed zero tribal loyalty to his fellow Catholics, (given his great cruelty to Catholic nations like Poland Italy and France.)

Again, why does it matter? Why are you so desperate to distance yourself from Hitler and not all the other atrocious people and acts associated with the Catholic church? Even if you could definitively prove that Hitler wasn't Catholic, there's still sooo much your church has to answer for. So much that you have to answer for. Do you tithe? Where do you think the money comes from to shuffle around the child-diddlers and suppress/spin the stories of their victims? Your pockets, that's where.

Catholics generally don't tithe the way other Christina churches do.

WE mostly just put a few dollars in the collection plate.

I imagine most of the money parishioners give is mostly used for Church upkeep/bake sales etc.

Also Im aware the Church even the Popes have had bad actors in them. It is made up of flawed, sometimes evil human beings.

The point it is an avenue to heaven which people are free to accept or reject.

You imagine? So where do you think the money for the PR and shuffling comes from? How do you think these predators get paid? That money comes from you and people like you.

Also, I spent many years in protestant churches, and it's pretty common for people to toss a few dollars in. Not everyone does the 10% thing. The point isn't how much you're giving...it's what the church is doing with it when it all adds up. Sure, some or even most of it goes to church upkeep, but some of it goes into the perpetuation of sexual and other abuse, and that's not ok.
