The Internet is my refuge as an atheist

The Internet is my refuge as an atheist
I'm really greatful for the Internet. Where I live I can't talk directly to a single atheist, this forum really helps me out. I'm also grateful for atheist youtubers and atheist memes. I'm grateful that I found on the Internet information about atheists in history and contemporary nonbelievers. I'm grateful that I found arguments pro and con atheism. The Internet really helped me become an atheist, it helped me discover who I should be.

I'm really glad the internet has helped you so much. It has helped me a lot too. Not just with this, but with many things, and it's helped me make friends all over the world. I am so grateful for the internet.

That's good to hear  Big Grin. It's a good time to be alive.

Where are you from where there aren't any atheists? I'm assuming your German?

The net helped me realize my true self; a snarky bastard. But then with this guy for a hero:

How could I turn out any other way?

Henry Louis "H.L." Mencken (1880-1956), "The Sage of Baltimore," was an author, journalist, skeptic, and possibly the snarkiest motherfucker ever.

It surely is one of the greatest inventions of all time. Anything and everything anyone wanted to know is just a few keystrokes away.
It's amazing 'science' always seems to 'find' whatever it is funded for, and never the oppsite. Drich.

Not much of a refuge. There seem to be a lot of trolls that live in my cave.

It's actually easy to not give a single fuck about religion.  Pretty much the only time I think of it is when I come here or TTA.

The Trolls have always been a problem, you can even find trolling in the early days of the internet back when computer people built their own modems and hand coded their own message boards. Through the modern internet and some intelligent admins, Thank you admins for keeping this forum safe from trolls in the majority of the cases. This board is also important. Although, this is one of many out their as well; this board along side many others that are great as well as kept Atheism growing in the hopes  that we get in a position greater then what we have now.

I view the internet as the new "Tower of Babel". Nothing is impossible for us!
