Well it's our 10th anniversary this August, so I may create a "member of the decade" awards.

That would quite redundant, as it is clearly me.

Perhaps a survivour count of those that were here in the first year and are still active. shouldn0t be hard to do. Like, you, Min, Hammy and Syn? DBP perhaps?

Hammy? Pfft. From now on you shall refer to me as "User 54". In contrast Downbeatplumb is user 150, Minimalist is user 410, and even if Violet pops in she's still only user number two hundred and ninety fucking three.

And Rhizo is 364.

As long as Darwinian doesn't show up I'm good to go basically. Even the good old former Admin leo-rcc was only user 81.

You're welcome You just kind of sum up all that's good about this place to me... you don't take any shit but at the same time are very level headed and compassionate. LP's similar... got a certain Yoda-ish quality about him I admire you both very much

I thank you for those very sweet, kind words, but I am quite sure there are many who are far better. ShellB comes to mind. There are so many here that I admire and wish I was more like. Sad to say, but one day, I might just fall off that pedestal you've placed me on, Squishy. 

My life experiences continue to shape who I am. The things I have dealt with in the last five years alone, have caused me to become somewhat calloused towards others. Perhaps that's where my spine lays in my ability to not take shit from others. But often, it leaves me feeling cold and unwanting. Not necessarily uncaring, but just perhaps a little less sympathetic than I would have been had those experiences not have happened. I'm not a fan of my own life and when I look back, I have regret with much of my adult life so far. 

But I thank you for admiring this old woman. Your words mean so much to me. Generally, the only time I ever hear anything kind is on this forum. I wish I could say I get the same sort of feels from the other adult in my house.
