(1) I think some of these young people only come into Subway to see the old man with the lip ring.
(2) We might have an apartment soon, within a couple of weeks; did the application thing and they already called my job yesterday for verification.

I think I’m not the only one who’s waiting on the news update.

Thank you I've been given a work trial, which has blown me away. The confidence they have shown in me, again, is doing wonders for fighting my depression. They even have one more chick to see next week, and they're already happy to give me a try out. They're concerned about how it will affect me if it's too much, which is of course my main concern too. The trial will reveal all! Emma and I agree that I will most likely be able to power through it. I'm so motivated to work for an animal charity.

I'm so anxious about whether I'll be up to it, and whether my energy will last. I've been volunteering at the same place for over a year, to talk to the public in the cattery, which has been over a period of 4 hours. I'll now be there 8 hours, so it's impossible to know exactly how I'll cope.
This is all so good for combating my depression, which saps huge amounts of my energy away. So I really do think it's possible. I've coped better and better with my volunteer role, and expanded it in many ways.
