I know I was interested for a while,  but there is something sinister in the scent of it, isn't there? At least I always felt like that even as a Deist.

I don't think I'd be interested in dark magick, however...in us all...there exists the capacity to want to do ''good'' and the desire to not do ''good.'' Whatever that means to you, on a personal level, or spiritual one. What I've been reading about Wicca, ''witches'' caution against performing spells in general, unless you are calm and unemotional about what your desire is, what the outcome is. Because when we're calm, we make better decisions. When you pray...you are asking for something...for God to do something, or cause a change in you, perhaps? If one invokes God into a spell let's say, it's with that same intent, similar to a prayer. But, a Wiccan can be a theist, atheist, or follow any religion or belief system...the spells are about intentions, and using our energy and intentions to bring about a desired outcome. That desired outcome might be that we merely grow from the experience. I shouldn't say ''merely,'' because personal growth is a beautiful thing, either way.

Either a real Angel who has clear proof that he is an Angel or a Human Guide from God has to teach you when you are ready. Otherwise, you won't be ready, and you will end up in a world of deceptions in the unseen and outward.

It's unfortunately a call to the dark sinister force - they entice us by powers and make it appealing, and of course, their magic works, and their spells do work.

But dear *Deidre* I caution you because indeed we are a ever playful with our fates and ever curious, and we thirst for knowledge, but the proper avenues to knowledge, is that to be chosen by us or by God?

That's all the debate comes down to between the true religions and false religions.

God can provide proofs to the path. And it's incumbent upon him to guide the way.

It's easy to look at monotheists who hold to the anointed leaders as fools, their laws archaic, but all I suggest is to reflect harder and look within deeper.

I;m biased, there are alot of sites, but those guys are out of the bay..and they used to throw badass sabbats back in the day.

I think I;ve probably already told the story on the boards...but I used to have a really nice outfit for scaring the shit out of hallucinating wiccans at boyd hill.

'What is all this shit about angels? Have you heard this? Three out of four people now, believe in angels. What're you, fucking stupid? Has everybody lost their fucking minds in this country? Angels, shit. You know what I think it is? I think it's a massive collective psychotic chemical flashback of all the drugs -- all the drugs -- smoked, swallowed, snorted, shot, and absorbed rectally by all Americans from 1960 to 1990. Thirty years of adulterated street drugs'll get you some fucking angels, my friend.' - George Carlin

It (that site) looks like it is filled with information. They say they've been around a long time, wow. I actually discovered a site about spells, and Wicca...and it's very helpful. I personally like incantations, as I'm a little lazy, and gathering different kinds of ''ingredients'' and ''items'' for a spell requires some planning. Big Grin haha! There are some simpler spells, though. The real power comes from our intentions and what or ''who'' we might be invoking. I believe in God, consider myself spiritual, so invoking God comes more natural to me.

There is all these talks of the future type books too and their plan for the future.

Of course, personally I don't trust deceivers to all of a sudden reveal the truth.

I think the key with ''religions'' outside of the Abrahamic faiths, is that they don't try to convince everyone around them to buy into it. Wiccans are content living their own lives, it seems, and doing what they believe to be true, for them. But, do you feel that these beliefs can lead people astray?

They are more influential then they might make it seem, why else, have all these books about future plans for the world?

I believe trusting any door or leadership or guidance not from God leads people astray.

What makes harder on these people is they have acquired much from the unseen experiences with these beings.

And they seem friendly enough, not like us judgemental Theists who make religion and spiritually so harsh and judgemental? right?

They are against the notion of God truly choosing, they are true definition of Anti-Christ, though some will claim Mohammad and Jesus were just misunderstood versions of their leaders.

lol Yes, I'll be sure to pass on the information to ''her.''

Angel

In truth, I felt a little awkward sharing my interest in this, here. Maybe it's in me, that I've always misjudged different beliefs, because of my own history with Christianity, Idk. But, you just don't know until you do know...and now, I know. Wicca is nothing what I had thought.

They make familiar with intentions and using tools, to focus. Some things are not just tools though, they have spiritual properties.  Everything has both a physical role in this world and spiritual role. They are familiar with the latter to degrees we don't know or perceive.

If you want to play with this stuff, all I advise you, is to always reflect about the path. If God is holy, what other then his holy name would be the path? It's holding on to his name in midst of falsehood, submitting to his images in midst of many claims to him, and recognizing his proof that has no comparison to all conjecture, that becomes definition of goodness in these dark times.

Oh it was good.  All part of the ritual/party.  In retrospect there was money to be made at it but this was before things like zombie runs and whatnot got big.  We;d set up a drum circle with a beacon fire in the middle of the sticks and prowl the edges of the flickering light or deeper out in costume.  Did it in a cornfield maze once, that was awesome...cleanup sucked.

I was the go-to guy for antlers..for most wiccans, killing animals doesn;t sit well, but I always have racks laying around.
