I saw these guys in 86.
My friends sister was getting married to the flute player and we had back stage passes.

I saw them opening for Jethro Tull and the flute player was unable to perform that night, so Ian Anderson graciously brought in his talents where needed. Hell of a show that night.

A Few years ago a local classic rock radio station did a top ten countdown of "best keyboard intros not by Elton John or Billy Joel" and criminally didn't showcase (or even mention) this one.

As someone with an enormous music collection, with quite a few jazz recordings, I may as well sort this by type of saxophone:
Soprano:
The single performance that brought the soprano sax to prominence in the jazz world.
Alto:
Charlie Parker had a nervous breakdown shortly after recording this track. At the time, he was so intoxicated that the producer had to tell him to blow. If you listen really close, you can hear it. Still doesn't take away from its power.
C-Melody Saxophone:
Most have never heard of the C melody sazophone, but it was originally marketed to be the main sax for popular music, but for Great Depression-related reasons, the Bb and Eb standard keys designed for marching bands overtook it. There have been very rare attempts at restarting production of the C melody saxophone, but they never last long.
I'll include a tenor, baritone, and Rahsaan Roland Kirk performance (who uses ALL OF THEM) in the next post. I can't do them now, because of the three-video-per-post limit.

A couple from Billy Joel:
This may be Joel's best track ever:

... And We're Back.
Tenor:
This performance is legendary. With this performance, Paul Gonsalves ensured that, even in the era of Rock and Roll, the Duke's music would remain as relevant as it had been in the swing era:
For 27 choruses, the rest of the band was silent as it became a simple quartet with Jimmy Woode on Bass, Sam Woodyard on Drums, and the Duke on piano, and the normally staid audience leapt to their feet and started dancing.
Baritone:
Gerry Mulligan's recordings with Chet Baker reinvented jazz.
ALL OF THEM:
Rahsaan Roland Kirk played soprano, alto, and tenor saxes. Simultaneously. And damn well. A lot of the time, he'd perform with a rack of the three saxes, a couple flutes, and maybe some percussion instruments. I like to think when he was a kid, he decided he wanted to play the sax, and when the man behind the counter told him about the many different types of saxophone, he just said "all of them" and managed to learn to play them all at the same time. To see footage of him performing, it may look silly, but it sounds incredible. At one point in this track, he's droning on one sax, setting up a beat and chord progression on the second, and soloing with the third.

Probably not to many Southern Rock fans here but "Marshall Tucker Band" using the flute, sax, steel guitar, maracas, tambourine and ect. Timeless Southern Music. Also "The Chicago Band" used brass instruments and reed instruments, some great music. I'd mention a Christian band that is talented in many different musical instruments, but you'd just laugh.
