RE: the god created science argument
Ok. So your sayin the laws of physics. Has shown supernatural tendencies. Physics is I'm sure u know the basis of how the universe works

"There is no empirical evidence for or against spirit."

I'll send a shout out for Ace here and suggest the application of Ockham's Razor at this juncture.

Absalutely. Ockham's or if you will Occam's (two ways of spelling it) should always be applied.
"The simplest explanation for some phenomenon is more likely to be accurate than more complicated explanations." In this case, the simplest explanation is that you're mistaken.

Stick to the simplest till there is evidence for the more complex.
Opt for the explanation requiring the fewest assumptions.

"We could still imagine that there is a set of laws that determines events completely for some supernatural being, who could observe the present state of the universe without disturbing it. However, it seems better to employ the principle known as Occam's razor and cut out all the features of the theory for which cannot be observed."
Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence - Carl Sagan

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity.

Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist.

You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.

Quote:Where do you get the idea that physics disproves God? Science has nothing to say about the supernatural

IF you believe in a god it is up to you to provide evidence for him. Its your proposal - you defend it. Science shows us that your god is an unnecessary bit of twaddle in the discussion

So far all I've seen from you before I lost interest in your ramblings was that you looked at a landscape and thought jesus grabbed your dick or some such nonsense.

If something really exists, it can be discovered.

If it can be discovered, it can be studied.

If it can be studied, it can be understood.

If it can be understood, it can be explained.

If it can be explained, it's part of the natural universe.

Ergo, "supernatural" that exists is natural.

Well, actually science has a lot to say about the supernatural. The field is called neurotheology. http://www.npr.org/2010/12/15/132078267/...ce-collide just look it up on google. Just another example of how the supernatural becomes natural.

All this says is that if one calms down and takes control of their life, things will get better. It specifically states "...neurotheology won't provide definitive findings about things like the existence of a higher power...".

Supernatural does not come into play at all. Why? Because 'supernatural' does not exist. Basically, it nothing more than an oxymoron. If it exists, it is natural.

That is because nature could be described as "all that is".... Or at least that is the way I see it.
