Well we already know that the republican men have made up their minds. They planned on voting him in regardless of what took place today.

Gorsuch didn't have these problems, but then again, his vote wasn't rushed and he wasn't already regarded as the worst candidate on the shortlist by the Republicans.

Yabut, nobody else's personal loyalty oath to the president was equally compelling. Besides, you need to -have- shit on a motherfucker to make sure his vote goes your way when the time comes. All of the things that write him off if this were a decision of integrity are his selling points, if it's more like craven whoring.

I believe Dr. Ford's account, but even if we find out that she really did mistake Kavanagh for another person who looked like Kavanaugh... even if he really didn't touch her or any of the other women who are accusing him, his inability to control his emotions in this hearing should indicate that he may be unable to separate his personal feelings from the law if he were to become a Supreme Court Justice.

That alone is a problem.

If you did judge, then you cant say Ford was "mistaken".

And how insulting was it for him to call the other lady's accusations a "joke". Even if one denies it considering the context of the moment, he is insulting all the victims of assault.

He's got that Trump narcissism thing going on, that's for sure. It's all about him. He's like some sweet sixteen girl sobbing in the limo that her parents rented for the occasion because Bethany wore a prettier dress and outshone her on her special day!

How dare these women choose now to talk about his sexual assault history! This election was supposed to be his special day!

I also think the GOP's mistake was inviting that female prosecutor to question either of them. I think they were expecting her to rattle Ford and softball Crappynuts, but she maintained the same tone all the way through. T
