Yet another refugee from the Amazon Atheist Forum and more recently, TTA.
I hope to get reacquainted with some old friends, and make many new ones.
This was quite a shock, as I went for a two week vacation and came home to no more TTA. I'm still coming to terms with it...so please, be gentle!

I was a lurker over at TTA. I've never been good at debate, but there was a wealth of info that I could use with my BIL who is this weird combination of conspiracy theory, literal bible and new age homeopathy. He promised me to send me info on the Fed as a front for the Illuminati and the proof of that the Great Flood happened and why I should hoard silver and rice. Fortunately, I think he's forgotten.
So I've followed everyone over here and am wandering around to find my comfy spots.

I wonder what value silver would really have in an apocalypse. Seems like silver would have little to no value and seeds would be the new commodity.

That would be my question. As I see it, people who had survival skills would bargain with those. They wouldn't have any use for silver.
