Hopefully not.  Maybe relax a bit.  I was agreeing with you, but they're not the only "Real Americans."

That's what land-grabbers and usurpers always say.

Which is what those Native Americans wouldn't have said, because it was a foreign concept to them.  They viewed the land much differently, especially in the context of land ownership.  Needless to say, much of it was unfortunate.

And note the word "Part" in my original comment . Their is more to it then that. But it's a condition of being a citizen .

Fair enough, but irrelevant to the conversation.  We're defining "real American."

I imagine real america has citizens in it

Doesn't mean the land grabbers had to come along and take it all

They didn't have to.  As I said, it was unfortunate.  Many of the Native Americans seen it as being advantageous, but the settlers had more of a "deal is a deal" approach without understanding the context of how nature was viewed.   When it became obvious that land ownership wasn't being view mutually it was a false assumption that the Native Americans were trying to violate the agreement, which of course turned to violence.  I don't think any sane person who cares about morality would disagree that the Native Americans got mucked over in all of it.

As an atheist? I can’t see anything that would bear on that after a cursory glance at the wiki page on him.

Honestly I’ve never heard of this dude.

There’s a couple other things. We could talk about my opinion of cops in general, but that has no basis in my disbelief in supernatural entities. We could talk about the things it looks like he says and does in a position of authority, which also has no basis in my disbelief of supernatural entities.

Agreed, there's no such place as Foxborough Tennesee for a start. The dick is so dumb he'll get banned fairly soon I'm sure, the twit must think we were born yesterday or something.

You don't get to pay taxes until you're an adult, child.

I wish people would stop throwing that word around.  Simply because Clarke is a moral troglodyte with all the compassion of a honey badger having an exceptionally bad day doesn't make him a traitor.

Was in all three places while I was in the U.S. Army.  Also, children can pay taxes.  Had my first job with taxable income around age 16.  Even before that I paid taxes when I bought something.
