You will never be happy to shut up...if all guns vanished overnight you would move on to marketing, the NFL, and cars.

Yes, keep it up. In the next 24 hours an average of 100 more of our fellow citizens will die from use of a firearm. So please do by all means stare at my finger when I am pointing at the moon.

And you will still be spouting your drivel on threads that have NOTHING to do with your daddy- induced myopic agenda.

Fucking troll.

So you do think I should be allowed to own a firearm?

Come on man, protect that 2nd at all costs.

If you were the only person in America today who was allowed to write firearm laws for everyone, would you say, "Brian has no criminal background, he should be allowed to own a firearm."

If yes, seems pretty hypocritical considering how you hate me. And please don't tell me you don't think I am crazy.

If no, then congrats, you are for gun safety laws.

The problem with you is you cant stand cognitive dissonance.

Or else, what?

CAN YOU NOT READ?

I wasn't making this about me. My "KEEP IT UP" meaning keep ignoring the firearm violence, and the average of 100 people per day will hold those numbers.

That was not an "Or else" argument on my part.

Me pointing at the moon, "The moon is not made of Cheese"

You, " Who cares if it is or not."

Me, " It is not made of cheese, stop staring at my finger."

"Keep it up" on my part was not a threat, as in "or else" on my part. I was merely saying ignoring or doing nothing wont change shit.

The moon is not made of cheese, and we DO have a firearm violence epidemic in America.

If you' re too fucking fragile, mentally - to own a firearm - why the fuck should anyone listen to your missives of who SHOULD be allowed ownership?

You' re fucking nuts.

Your opinion SHOULD be disregarded.

Fucking troll.

You're fucked then, because under our current federal laws, since I have no recorded record of violent felonies, nor have had any mental institution evaluate me, sorry, CURRENTLY, under our federal laws, I CAN go out tomorrow and by one legally.

Are you for the Second Amendment or not?

I always get the argument "don't presume guilt".

Seems like you are willing to limit my rights in this thread?

If I have no record why can't I?

Not liking me personally is not an argument.

Should a person with no criminal record  be allowed to by a firearm? ACCORDING TO YOU?

Please skip the cherry picking.

Maybe the moon should be made of cats.

You cant plug a banana clip up a cat's ass and shoot at a moon made of cheese, much less the real moon.

However, whether onlinebiker intended it to be a bait and switch or not, this is a quite common analogy in the gun debate. It's not like Brian pulled the idea that this could be related out of his ass. He could be wrong, and this could be just a thread about cars. That's great, because this is a legitimate topic, but Brian's not making it up when he says he's seen this argument like a billion times. That said, I've also seen this gun thread like a billion times, and it gets reaaaallll boring, Bri.

Accusing people of bait and switch is a troll tactic. Trolls think they have seen bait and switch a lot because they count it as a hit every time they accuse someone of it, and never acknowledge their misses (misses are about 100%).  So if you've seen this tactic a lot, it probably just means that you've participated in a lot of trolling. The switch never happened in any of those discussions. But you don't remember that because our brains are always filling in missing information with our worldview.

Are you high? I've seen this tactic used in actual gun debates where both sides were debating the topic openly. It's very common. That said, so isn't the debate about whether car owners should be culpable if someone uses their car in committing a crime. People are way too fucking fond of calling everything they don't like trolling.

Yes, and regardless of position on either side, "troll" is a dodge used by both sides, just like the "you live in your mother's basement" which I have seen from both sides.

My point is that the original title/OP of the thread was asking if your car was stolen, is it your fault.

Of course not. But that is misleading knowing that car companies work on anti theft technology and GPS tracking. And like I said before, it is still illegal to allow a 5 year old to drive a car. It is still illegal to speed or drink and drive, and you cant drive a 4 lane wide monster truck on a public road.

And yes the "responsible" word is widely used in gun debates.

OLB has us dead to rights. We have to simply let him write our laws as if we live in a one party state like North Korea. As long as he gets everything he wants everyone will be happy. Can't have this pesky thing called pluralism in a free west. Can't have everyone voting.
