*Sigh*….Do you think saying things like this is the best way to get off on the right foot with believers?
You say that as if befriending a theist is a bad thing. I'm not telling the man what to think - I'm just agreeing with him.
Actually what the fuck IS your point?!?
EDIT: You know what, never mind Ethdaman, your credibility is destroyed on this site and I couldn't care less what your opinions are. I don't know who you are as you have been deceptive and I no longer consider you authentic. Please do me the favor of not responding to any of my posts.

I think that would be better read as:-
Cinj Wrote:I think doubts will either make your grow stronger in your faith or they will lead you to the correct path. For YOU
At least that's how I read it. meh.

Hey GTG! I have to admit, when I read your nic I thought you were a nutty troll or poe, but I have to agree with Cinjin that you seem to have a great attitude. Welcome to AF! ^_^
When I was young, there was a god with infinite power protecting me. Is there anyone else who felt that way? And was sure about it? but the first time I fell in love, I was thrown down - or maybe I broke free - and I bade farewell to God and became human. Now I don't have God's protection, and I walk on the ground without wings, but I don't regret this hardship. I want to live as a person. -Arina Tanemura

Agreed. I think those who questioned their faith and are now atheists are indeed on the right path for them. Atheists get equal consideration where I'm involved. I certainly find no wrong choice in being an atheist. Rather, I respect it.

You said "correct", implying that his faith is false. If you are trying to be friendly and all you shouldn't try to be sly about things like that.

Lol I see how this works, try and make Statler look dishonest by being dishonest yourselves so you don’t have to be schooled by him in debates anymore. You sure have a pretty lax standard of "proof", I have never been proven to be dishonest on here (I have a valid marriage license and USDA security pass if you actually cared about the truth, but you don’t). You never believed I was authentic though so stop acting like you have principles. I will respond to your posts anytime I please, you don't have to respond back if you do not wish to.

Oh Statler, I think you're being paranoid now.
I at least understood Cinjin, that even if GTG kept an open mind and got his faith challenged, it didn't matter if he got converted or not. I think he meant that even after being questioned and if GTG so chose to stay a Christian, then it is the correct philosophy for him on a personal level, otherwise he would change his mind and that would be correct for him. We're not debating now whose's convictions are the "right" ones on the bigger scale this time, just for the individual. No need to get so worked up about it
