Thanks for the welcome, and the reminder. I am not a 5 point calvinist, therefore i believe everyone has to make the choice to follow christ or not, to have faith, or not. I will encourage anyone that wants it, but also understand this is an athiest forum. You have been very respectfull to me and I promise I will try to do the same.

I was sincere when I said "excellent". That is an excellent attitude to have. I think the best thing a person can do is to challenge the things they believe. Keeps your mind opened and honest. I do it all the time. I think doubts will either make you grow stronger in your faith or they will lead you to the correct path. Either way is a positive in my opinion.

As long as your intentions are what you say they are, you should be fine. If websee bullshit, we call it, but the atheists here call each other out on bullshit, so don't feel picked on.



I'm around southern baptists all the time too. It's rough, but I'm coping with it a lot better since I found AF. I'm in Nashville, TN... so, yeah, I'm the only atheist I know.
