Do you believe vaping is healthier than smoking? (Tobacco)

I think it's safer by far but I wouldn't be shocked with disbelief if it turned out it's as dangerous as smoking from some overlooked thing.

I don't smoke any more so I haven't researched it myself.

I had a history of trying to give up smoking cigs but getting back into it by things like shisha or weed smoking. So I'd never try vaping anyway.

Well, actually it is. Just as using heroin would be far safer than using fentanyl. That you don't see either as "safe" doesn't mean one isn't far safer than the other. Also, I think vaping IS far healthier than smoking, so I don't think the dirty heroin syringe analogy works quite so well.

You can't be sure what you are getting with heroin bought on the street.  You could be getting stuff that's pretty pure or stuff that's been stomped on so often it's barely even heroin anymore.

Pharmaceutical fentanyl at least has dosages...there's not guesswork in what is there.

Except that the vast majority of fentanyl users are getting their fix on the street, so it's just as much of a toss up as with heroin. Difference is most people who are overdosing aren't dying from heroin; they're dying from fentanyl.

What does this have to do with vaping again?

edit: Not to mention, fentanyl dosages are measured in micrograms. Give someone access to legal heroin and they'd be much safer even than using legal fentanyl, especially considering the tolerance that fentanyl builds in users, causing them to overestimate or underestimate their dosages regularly. This is even more dangerous when they're using illegally obtained fentanyl. "Measuring" isn't really measuring when you're pouring matchead amounts of what you think is fentanyl into your spoon before you cook it (assuming you still partake in the completely pointless ritual of heating up powdered dope).

While it might be tempting to paint substance abusers as unintelligent people, I think the real picture of the situation is much more complicated than that. Surely all types of people abuse substances, but I can say that personally, and of course this is purely anecdotal, some of the most intelligent people I've ever known were drug addicts in one form or another. Wasted potential is a shame. That being said, as far as tobacco, I smoke an occasional cigar; that's about it. Never got into cigarettes and vaping is needlessly expensive. Cigarettes seem to be the most pointless form of nicotine use as they don't even create a buzz for the user once the users hooked. At least a cigar gives me a nice buzz and a good taste in my mouth. Cigarettes taste like dirty air and provide absolutely no buzz for the user. Now that's moronic.

And you sound like a schmuck that buys into the idea that sucking on a burning weed that gives you a dose of toxin somehow makes you cool, suave, classy, or sexy.
