Hi everyone.
My name is Chris, I used to be a member of the Thinking Atheist Forum.
Thought I would join up and see how things are going here, see if I can catch up with some of the old forum members and also make new friends.
I am really lucky in that I live in the UK, the general population don't get persecuted for being atheists here. In fact I would say that if you said you were religious most people would just raise their eyebrows but politely not say anything. It was only when I joined the Thinking Atheist Forum that I realised how bad being an atheist or gay can be for some people in other countries.
