Is your girlfriend in my family?! Tongue I'll bet your family get-togethers are whole LOT of amusing to watch.

On a side note, even your girlfriend should know that she can ask for forgiveness for her fornicating as soon as she gets married. That's the perk you get when being a christian - god is required to forgive you. (well, unless of course you're a homo, or, if you're a catholic, you commit suicide)

Christians suck! the plus is that they even suck at sucking and they suddenly change their tunes after a beautiful grandchild is born and they realize that they would rather see their kids and grand kids than hold fast to jesus' dick.

They'll never say that they were wrong, but knowing that they are total hypocrite liar mother-fuckers is often enough to get you through your day without hitting them in the head with a blunt object. Trust me, nearly all A-HOLE family members eventually shut their fucking mouths when babies actually get born.

AFTERTHOUGHT: If you really want to teach them a lesson for causing you and your future wife so much pain ... after your son or daughter is born, remind them of their oath not to have anything to do with you child and then tell them that their not welcome in your home or around their grand child. Watch their faces then!

'she told me that she is going to hell because we've had sex outside of marriage'

She can't be much of a believer then. Or fearful of hell.

The reason I posted this is because my girlfriend is a Christian. She is not a hardcore fundamentalist Christian, but she believes in the basic values and she is a very kind and understanding woman. The thing is though, she told me that she is going to hell because we've had sex outside of marriage, which is a huge sin to her religion. When meeting her family last Sunday, one of her older aunts made sure to let me know if she got pregnant outside of marriage she would not support her, myself or our child.

I plan on marrying this girl, I know things change, but I would honestly be there for our child(ren) through everything.

My girlfriend took it hard that her family would disown her because of sex outside of marriage. Who exactly is this hurting? My point was, who are the victims in victimless crimes? Maybe I should have made a thread about victimless crimes instead.

I don't see how sex outside of marriage (which is pleasure and emotional and brings couples closer together), getting angry with someone and not hurting them in any way, eating blood from meat, getting a tattoo, and something as simple as wearing clothes of the opposite gender could be considered a sin, and could result in one going to hell.
Thanks bud appreciated.

I wouldn't condemn anyone, especially younger people, following their sexual desires. That's how we're built and marriage is a confirmation of a love between 2 people IMO and not what comes first. Marriage is only a peice of paper. The committment is what it's about, and you don't need no piece of paper for that.
You're showing committment already that supercedes that shit.

People sin most of the time as far as I can see. It's how we're built, and why, in the lingo, we need forgiving. No one gets a free pass into heaven, and no one is damned forever. If you make a mistake that isn't going to matter either way in the grand scheme of things, so your GF saying that, to me, is unbiblical.

I personally hold the opinion that sex and love are inseperable. I know loads of ppl here disagree with me on that. I think we're monogamous. You may argue otherwise. For that reason, however, I think that recreational sex fuks with your emotional side. For that reason I can see the families point... then again making a religious point out of that strips it of all meaning. Just My opinion.

Why are sex and love inseparable? Do you mean they ARE whether we like it or not, or that they should be? Because if it's the first, that's provably untrue. I've fucked girls I didn't even like that much, let alone loved.

Yeah I'm saying that there's a connection happenning even if you think your penis brain is the only one doing the thinking.

I agree that there is a connection happening when people have sex. It just isn't the one you're referring to, Fr0d0. Wink
That will never hold up in court...

I've had 10+ one night stands with girls I've never seen or spoken to again. Where was the love element here? What would even make you think something so absurd? Do hookers love their clients?

Despite this, I'm capable of forging strong emotional bonds with people and I have no doubt at some point a woman will turn up who I simply cannot be without, and I don't see how my hedonism will be an issue.
