The dems now have a front runner that I can vote for. If Bernie ends up on the ticket in Nov., I'll probably vote outside both parties.

If you don't vote for someone who has a chance of beating T.rump you're wasting your vote.

Unfortunately Biden is not that guy.
I'm still in the Bernie or Bust crowd. Mostly because I feel like voting for someone you actually like is better than voting for someone you feel is more electable. Just about anyone should be able to beat Trump, as long as they don't have just as much dirt under their rug as he does. I don't see Biden doing much better than Hillary. Bernie should actually fare better, since he has nothing on him that should stick. Aside from the tired old "Venezuela, how do you pay for it" line.

Having nothing on Bernie won't change the lies that get told, and then swallowed by the chump's chumps.

I'm just tickled that after the huge range of younger and more diverse candidates who ran, that the Democrats are down to two tired, old white men - one of the most bad mouthed groups by the dems. Sanders even just recently suffered a heart attack. So now there's a socialist who can't win a general election and an aging establishment politician who nobody really cares for. What's this? His third or fourth run for the nomination? I can't believe what I'm seeing.

All I can say is, Bernie looks a lot less tired, and a lot more there in the head, than Biden. It is funny that we're still rooting for an old white man, after the first black president, but the issues he talks about will remain problems until they're fixed. That's why he keeps repeating them all the time.

Observing from outside, the more internal squabbling among the dems, the more likely that Trump wins 2020.
Play it the way it lays.
Oh, sorry. Trump cheats at golf.

If there is any hint of any state in the deep South turning anywhere close to purple you can bet the Republicans will ramp up their voter suppression efforts against people likely to vote for Democrats. The "Rust Belt" - which matters a whole lot more - hasn't voted yet and now that The South has voted I think it's down hill from here for Mr. Biden.
The Rust Belt isn't going to overwhelmingly favor Bernie over Biden. Biden isn't Hillary. And Florida is going to eat Bernie alive. Let's hope he's even viable there.
Quote:Secondly, Donald Trump is afraid Senator Sanders, as leaked audio confirms.
Donald Trump was relieved that Hillary didn't choose Bernie as her running mate (no shit), but that doesn't mean Trump was afraid of Senator Sanders. It just means he acknowledged that Hillary + Bernie would've been more of a challenge for him than Hillary + Tim Kaine. It doesn't mean Trump would've shat himself if Bernie instead was the nominee. On the contrary.
Quote:There's so much to attack Joe Biden on and Donald Trump will be viscous and ruthless.
I don't think this matters as much as people think. Biden has this perception of toughness that Hillary didn't have (and Bernie certainly doesn't), and will have the advantage of being a white man who's had ample political experience (so no sexist attitudes to deal with).
Quote:If the media did its job properly - that is holding people to account - then Joe Biden would have been done ages ago. Does anybody actually believe Mr. Biden got arrested alongside Nelson Mandela for example? Yet you won't hear about that obvious lie he told on the cable news because they would rather have four more years of Donald Trump has president than Senator Sanders as the Democratic nominee.

Yeah, all the talk of unity goes out the window, when people want to unify behind someone who wants to change the system. At least the people who aren't old or rich, or course. Those are his weakest demographics. (Disclaimer, there are exceptions to this rule. I'm aware of it. Don't @ me).
I saw a video where someone mentioned that if you actually look at the most economically poor countries in the world, none of them are countries that are self proclaimed socialists. Not unless they're getting sanctioned to hell and back. Over here, we have trillions of dollars in debt, and I've been told that you kind of need debt in a capitalist society. That sounds like a flaw I the system. Let's find one that doesn't necessitate a bunch of debt, or a poor class.
Not that there is a perfect system, but if you shoot for the stars, you might reach the moon.

I'll vote my conscience, you vote yours. While I don't like Trump's behavior/actions (before or after election) there are some Sanders positions that I can't support.
