I started early.

At 14 I rolled a tractor in road gear and got caught between the gas tank and tire which continued turning for 15 seconds or so.. It took most of the skin off my back, right upper arm and right side of my neck....my first brush with death.

That was my first time in the body shop.

I have had a few repeat stays since.. Mostly vehicle related.

Thanks. Here in the US we call them "slicers". I can see where "mandolin" comes from, though.
