Still Alive and kicking decades later.
Living Colour had their one hit "Cult Of Personality" back in 1988..

But here is their current video and most certainly apt for this era.

AAArrgggh...I can't stand guitar solos like that.
I used to like their song, 'Bi', but I wouldn't play it too loud. :-)

Are you kidding me? That is Pink Floyd, Queen, Metallica, Hendrix quality.

Living Colour kicks ass!

Gee, thanks so much for sharing more of life stuck in the 80s.

My day is now complete knowing there is someone out there that can out-Hendrix, Hendrix.

What would I have done without this very special music thread?

You are not the first to point my Hendrix reference and you wont be the last.

Hendrix was a giant for his time, and nobody should argue that. Nor was I arguing that.

I will say argue that Vernon Reid of Living Colour is on par for his time and even now.

I have no doubt that if Hendrix were alive today, he'd love Living Colour.

I just don't like those chromatic style riffs that go on forever because they have no substance and become quite static after not too long.
Why do you like it again?
