In entire American history there appears to be no precedence for presidential criminal liability.   It is sheer good luck that the first Serious unabashed grifter and criminal in chief did not move into the whitehouse 250 years.   If the flood gate does not resoundingly slam shut on trump,  One could only look forward to a deluge of grifters and criminals following Trump into all levels of elected and appointed offices.

Years ago I began a song about the last conversation between Waylon Jennings and Buddy Holly.  It was supposed to be about jokes between friends that result in years of regret.  It ended up being about ugly things said to people you hate and having no regrets.  The chorus goes:

My planning probably isn't the best...I have to drive a couple 'burbs to the west in the morning for a B-12 injection. Then north a couple 'burbs to go to the office and pick up paperwork and checks. In the afternoon I just have to go a couple miles away to the dentist.

The first trek is a little too close to Dallas for my liking, especially on this election day. UGH!
