When I was in grade school I had a Dobson Fly in my bug collection. My father had caught it for me while he and a friend were on a fishing trip. It was over 3" long.

I had a chance to handle Atlas Moths when I was in Vietnam. They were frequently attracted to the lights around the aircraft hanger where I was working. I once took a photo of one that was resting on the side of a building. It was larger than my hat, which I had placed next to the moth for size comparison.
