Nope, try again. It is perfectly normal and natural for threads to run off topic. The rule is there to prevent deliberate derailing, not to restrict the flow of conversation.

If it bothers you that much, tag more of your threads as Serious. If anyone veers off-topic in those threads, I’ll do what I’ve always done on your behalf - remind them to stay on track.
