For centuries people have been wondering what the unforgivable sin is. Even most Christians can't properly explain what this sin is. I have always thought that if there was a big "no no" in the Bible then perhaps God ought to clearly define it, put an electric fence, warning lights, sirens and signs around it.

A brief dissection of the article (quotes from the article will appear in bold italics, my comments will appear as regular text):

Soo Atheists are off the hook because it is illogical to hate that which you don’t believe in.

1)Proving that god is or isn’t moving in a ministry is an unprovable thing. Therefore to speak out against any minister (no matter how vile he is) who claims that god is moving in his ministry, might send me on the path to hell. BTW prosperity preachers who take advantage of the poor and ignorant are the first ones to claim that god is moving in their ministry.

1)Also, Christians who, in the name of god, do nasty things to people “work to convince people to walk away from Jesus or prevent them from coming to Jesus.” There are many people who have left the faith because of abuse. There are others who never came to the faith in the first place because they were witnesses to such abuse. Many Christians who claim to be “truly faithful to Christ” are the most abusive people you meet (many, not all) therefore out of those who fall into the “truly faithful” group, many are on the path to hell. Does anyone else see the irony in this?

It is when they cannot see a reason to come to Jesus for their salvation. This is a matter of perception. It is not fact.

“If God doesn't want a person to come to Jesus, He won't allow them to realize that they need Him and therefore believe upon Him.”

Take this passage in context with the passages above it as it appears in sequence in the article. There is a doctrine out there which some churches promote that says god chooses those he wants to go to heaven with him, the rest are fucked (this is my paraphrase of the doctrine). How fair’s that?

If you accept this part of the passage as truth but also take into consideration the fact that you have never had the need to believe in god, then this means that you were fucked from the time of your conception.

If you still can't seem to break free:Then it's most likely a spiritual bondage you are under and will require deliverance to be set free. (……More bullshit)
Testimony of related spirits being cast out:
Last night we prayed over a young woman who was battling an oppressive spirit that was trying to cause her to doubt her salvation, fears of the unpardonable sin, etc. I began to confront the spirits and they manifested.... she was bent over sobbing and coughing as the spirits were cast out!

It is the type of redundant verbal diarrhea that theists cobble together to impress the dolts with a lot of pointless verbiage about sin and love and their invisible fucking sky daddy. Mix in a few pointless bible quotes and xtian shits will feel special about themselves for days on end after gazing at it.

Perhaps I have over analyzed that. I was just having some fun. The doctrine of the unforgivable sin has irritated me for 3 decades. I'm just letting off a little steam.

Well, logically, atheists cannot really hate something that they think is non-existent.
However, blasphemy takes on many forms and shapes...
Like if they deny that the holy spirit exists, would they be actually blaspheming against it?
Or would simple idol worship, having other gods besides Jahweh also constitute blasphemy? Because those people also do not acknowledge the existence of the holy spirit since they don't believe in it in the first place, which would make conversion really a moot, and impossible.

Frankly, I don't give a rat's ass what Christians think the unforgivable sin is, since sin is meaningless to those of us without gods to worship or a heaven or hell to worry about going to. I'm sure I could find other bible passages where it says that God forgives all sins.

if you were to compare the number of times the unforgivable sin is mentioned with the many passages that talk about god forgiving sin in general the unforgivable one begins to look like a little small print exception tacked on to a much greater concept. It's like saying Oh by the way.......

This is one of the things that really bothered me about the Christian theology they would teach lay people.
