has Biden done a good job as president?

The current situation on our southern border, IE the humanitarian crisis/kids in cages
Biden's dealings with: North Korea, China, Russia, moving to defcon 3
His bid to end America's energy surplus resulting in Higher fuel prices
His role/his expectations for the American people in the pandemic which seems backwards to how Fl/DeSantis is handling things to far greater success.
His dealings in the middle east pulling out of Afghanistan, Pandering to Pakistan to rejoin the nuclear proliferation agreement
His proposed taxes or anything else you think he has done a good job on.

Because i honestly ask people if they think he is doing a good job, and if i get a yes they can not tell me where or what he has done a good job on unless they use trump as a red herring to deflect the question.. so again i get it orange man bad, no need to go down that road (unless too "smart" to come up with anything else, but must be heard).. but for the rest: what merits has a Biden's presidency produced?

While I am not as old as this country, I can say that Trump is at the bottom of the list. Nixon, and Reagan, and both Bush's did a better job than that orange fuck.

George W Bush is guilty of more war crimes than any other democratically elected leader still alive, and Ronald Reagan's economic philosophy has destroyed our economy and created worse income inequality that France had before the French Revolution.

I wouldn't be so quick to say he's that much worse. His handling of coronavirus is obviously his biggest blunder, as his personal response led to thousands of unnecessary deaths. But only in time will we be able to tell. Seriously, I think you're forgetting how much horror, death and destruction the Bush Administration was responsible for

What do you think would have happened if members of Congress were still there when the insurrectionists finally got in? They would've had a tea party? They would have just said "Oh Madame Speaker, we are just so upset with you! That's all we had to say. We'll leave now. Oh, these? Don't worry, I brought these zip ties for fun, not to kidnap as many anti-Trump politicians as I could 😊"

Guilt by association....

How low you' ll go....

If two people are connected because they both took part in the specific action being condemned, or because one person helped another specifically to commit it, it ain't guilt by association.

If, for instance, I have a friend who kills someone, it would be guilt by association to condemn me if I was associated with him in a way that isn't related to murder. If, however, I lended him my gun and gave him advice about the best way to pull it off after he told me he wanted to kill that person, then it would just be regular guilt. And it'd be the same if I specifically told him I wanted said person dead and that I wanted him to do it. That's how guilt works. That's how the law works.

Boru
Exactly.

Now.....

Since WHEN is the President ELECT the head of the government? Never? Not till he is sworn in?

...

WHO was the President during this "period of insurrection"?

This is no small point. And it' s not a " functional gallows".

President Trump cannot be charged with insurrection - unless you are charging that he conspired to have himself overthrown - AS HE WAS THE HEAD OF THE.GOVERNMENT AT THAT TIME.

Did he incite a riot? Arguably so. Is he a monumental asshat? Again - that' s an easy arguement to make. Did he attempt to nullify a legal election? Sure looks like it.

But - you are an idiot trying to redefine crimes by saying it was insurrection..

Yeah I got some news for ya OLB ... the US doesn't have a king.
Nitpicking, and bullshit. Nope and totally false. He actively and purposefully attempted to interfere and stop the peaceful transfer of power, from himself to Biden. He attempted to retain the powers he was elected to perform, but was about to loose. It was an insurrection. An insurrection is : "a violent uprising against an authority or government". In the US, there are 3 INDEPENDENT CO-EQUAL branches of government. Not one. Where does it say in the constitution he's the "head of government" ? Trump incited an insurrection against the legislative branch, an established IN-POWER authority, (and the people of the US they represent) , which was interrupted by the insurrection, in carrying out it's duties under the constitution. He also attempted to violently usurp the authority of the PEOPLE of the US, (from which he has his power at all), who had not elected him for another term, and the authority of the Electoral College, which the 50 states had certified ... that authority. Yeah there was an insurrection all right, and your analysis is as Trumpy as it gets .... total bullshit. ... and as slimey and squeeley and dishonest as the Repulicans are, it's all gonna come out in the upcoming Commission. The longer it drags out and the closer it gets to the next election, the better. They are going down in history as traitors to the US democracy. They thought if they dragged it out, people would forget it. Turns out that was a foolish mistake. It's gonna bite them on the ass. None of the 147 who came back that night and still voted not to accept the results should ever be allowed in office again.

This BS sounds like the crap we hear all the time from one of the idiots on Fox News. It sounds good, but it's actually totally false. Do you have Fox Derangement Syndrome ? Wanna tell us where you got this crap ? It's not even a tiny itsy-bitsy point. It's totally fallacious. Try harder next time. No one is redefining anything. Trump was not "the US government". He attempted to SEIZE powers he did not *ever* have at all, in the first place. Could Trump tell congress what to do ? Could he tell the Supreme Court what to do ? Could he tell the governors what to do ? The state courts that threw out all his ridiculous law suits ? Umm .. no. If he were "the head of government" .... well you get the drift.

It’s not entirely true that nobody’s redefining anything. Biker’s clearly hell-bent on redefining what it means to be culpable for a crime. If someone who invaded the Capitol on January 6th is found guilty of insurrection claims Trump told them to do so, and many of those who stormed the Capitol have claimed they did so on the explicit authority of Trump, then that’s just guilt by association and Trump shouldn’t be liable. If they stormed the Capitol in an attempt to overturn the results of an election even though any reasonable person should know such an attempt would not succeed, then this shouldn’t count as an insurrection or coup to him. The same goes for when someone places pipe bombs at the RNC and DNC headquarters and said bombs are disarmed before they can explode. Those sound like redefinitions to me. And something tells me that if you ask a lawyer about that, it’ll sound like a redefinition to them, too.

Actually no, that's not at all how the crime of incitement works, and it's not "guilt by association"

It was an INSURRECTION.

Mitch McConnell even said it was an insurrection. So now I fucking dare you to come after me.  Go on. Given your level of intellect, I'm not particularly worried.

Drich, first you claim that there was no riot, no insurrection and that it was a regular visit, and you call media that claim it was a violent riot as fake, only to link to a Snopes article that calls the happening a riot and Jan. 6 insurrection. They should be fake news by your standards.

Remember when you wrote:

Drich Wrote:what riot? do you mean when capitol police unlocked the doors and invited protesters in allowed the capitol building to be filled with protesters and then blitzkrieg attacked the at the time non violent protesters?

maybe this is what was meant when he said it was like a regular visit: note the fake news trying to make it sound like the russians took the building by force:
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

So what, Dripshit. You are so fucking gullible and childish.
Your cherry picked video does not tell the story. Either you know that, and lying, or you're just stupid. Maybe both.
The full SET of videos are what they are. They are not "single source" anything.
The Insurrection Commission will look at everything that happened, and fool liar and deniers, not unlike yourself, will be shown to be the traitirs you are.
"Some" of the cops will be found to be complicit in the crimes, as everyone knows. What, you live under a rock. Oh well. You do. Even an active duty Marine was an assaulter.
The fact that a few criminal cops let some in, does not give anyone the right to even *go*in, and certainly not to destroy all that government property.
Yeah, you cherry pick your videos, and then lie abut what actually happened. You're such a low-life.
Your god Trump LIED and said he would go down to the capitol with them. He ABANDONED them. THEY have said that. You're promoting mob rule, idiot.
We also get you actually know nothing about the riot/insurrection. MULTIPLE (that means more than one Drippy) entrances to the capitol were entered and breached.
NOT just the one where the crooked police let them in.

Let me make it simple at your simple level.
If a security guard lets in some burglars to a business, does that make it OK for the burglers to destroy and rob shit ?
That's what you're saying here, that it is OK.

Multiple sources.

videos.
