Protests have erupted across Spain after a gay man was killed over Pride weekend

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

In the latest state-level swing at LGBTQ health care access, Ohio will now allow medical providers to refuse to administer any medical treatment that violates their moral, ethical, or religious beliefs.

The provision allows anyone providing medical care — from doctors and nurses to researchers and lab techs – and anyone paying for that care (namely, insurance providers), “the freedom to decline to perform, participate in, or pay for any health care service which violates the practitioner’s, institution’s, or payer’s conscience as informed by the moral, ethical, or religious beliefs.”

I'm pro choice so it pisses me off when doctors say that they won't do assited suicide because it goes against the all mighty Hippocratic Oath. Yet still in a country where health care isn't free, they have no problem leaving someone to die becuase they can't afford to pay for it. And now this happens proving once again that the Hippocratic Oath means NOTHING in the health care industry. SMH.

It’s for the insurance companies. Companies are people. Wouldn’t want to violate their genuinely held religious belief that you should never see a dime.

Pray Away

It's obvious that Christianity gives false promises through pseudoscience just like Scientology.
