Interesting, which type of “free speech” he’s defending and which he’s requesting be closed down. 🙄

Especially considering that he was all gung-ho to use the topic for it's purpose of discussion and clarification earlier.

I'd still like an answer, @HappySkeptic to the deep, important discussions you're not able to have here due to the current rules and bannings.

You can’t make this shit up.

There is no discussion required - you made a rule.  You enforce a rule.  End of story.  IA tried to discuss the rule, and his own comments banned him.  I don't agree with his banning, but that doesn't mean there is anything to discuss, except perhaps the definition of rape apologetics - which would probably lead to more bans or epithets thrown at people.

The question is relevant, if you belive Cosby should of been afforded due process then you are considered to be a rape apologist... That's why we need a clear definition.

There are probably folks who can’t override their compulsions in this world. Not for forum rules or , really, anything else. I suppose it’s unfortunate if a person feels compelled to swirl around this issue when the rules are firmly set against it. It’s not genuine malice that leads to action in those events, and it’s unclear that s person would ever recognize their mistake.

In an ideal world, those people would inhabit places that allow for the conversation to turn into that sort of cesspool..but then again, in an ideal world, that cesspool wouldn’t contain victims of the crime, either.
