Covid 19 conspiracies dump

And frankly, about whether or not I think it’s okay for 5000 nurses who won’t take the jab to lose their jobs because of it, think of it like this: imagine that your nurse is refusing to take a simple precaution to prevent spreading whatever diseases her patients have to other patients. Would you want such a nurse taking care of you when you”re sick? That’s a malpractice suit waiting to happen. At least, assuming that the nurse in question isn’t able to mask her negligence with great bedside manner (Malcolm Gladwell talked a bit about this in Blink).

And then, you look at why they’re doing it, at best, it’s based on an erroneous assumption that, if you had it already, you’re good to go, which isn’t necessarily the case. And if it turns out that they’re not doing it because they bought into anti-vaxxer bullshit, shit that can often be easily debunked by anyone with an internet connection and half a brain, that tells me that this nurse doesn’t know what they’re talking about. And I don’t know about you, but I don’t want to put my health in the hands of someone who doesn’t know what they’re talking about.

They're nurses, not doctors. I don't care if they're the most brilliant people in the world, and I'd be fine with a nurse taking care of me in that situation, yes. So you're willing to let there be thousands of less nurses to take care of people, because they're too stupid for you, and their beliefs offend you even though those beliefs are irrelevant to the job, which is taking care of patients. Not taking a vaccine does not automatically make you too stupid to keep an eye on sick people and help them a bit. Come on. Give these nurses some credit. They went through school and proved they are qualified for the job.

And I dispute the idea that the vaccine is a simple precaution. There have been adverse effects, which is why it's a bigger risk to get the vaccine after you've had covid than to just stick with the natural immunity and not risk a bad reaction to the vaccine. If you already have similar immunity, why risk an adverse reaction just so your percentage of not catching covid goes up by a couple percentage points? It's a dumb risk for little gain, imo.

And a lot of them believe in God too. Let's fire all those nurses and doctors too while we're at it. Anyone with any irrational beliefs whatsoever. Fired.

So, to you, if a health care worker rejects the #1 proven means of prevention of a disease that’s overrunning the world and their hospitals’ ICU rooms, that’s irrelevant to their job, which will involve getting in contact with said disease? Am I interpreting you correctly?

How is it irrational to think that having had covid gives you a similar level of immunity to having taken the vaxx?

Because it doesn't at least consistently and with Omicron this is even more true

Yes. Many people have had adverse effects to the vaccine, and no one should be forced to put this risky vaccine in their body with the threat of their job on the line. And I believe they are being completely rational in not taking the vaccine.

Besides the study I showed you a page ago that looked at the issue and concluded that vaccination is more effective than natural immunity?

No, they haven't serious side effects are rare. The side effects of covid are far more frequent.
