You look great! I looked like I had swallowed a hippopotamus when I was carrying mine. Pregnancy did not become me...glad cell phones weren't a thing and cameras were easy to hide from.
Went to a wedding looking like an army pup tent with baby two. Maternity clothes were awful back then and the only thing I could find was an olive drab tent-like thing with sleeves.
Oh, that stage is coming for me; it’s inevitable. Now that the sickness has subsided I’m eating everything in the house, and I get terrible sugar cravings when I’m pregnant. The other night I dreamt I scraped the frosting off of a birthday cake and ate it all. 😂.
Maternity clothes really have come a long way, you’re right. They’re also ridiculously expensive. This time around I’m just wearing my stretchy regular shit.

With our last little critter, I suddenly couldn't find any of my tshirts or gym shorts. Maternity clothes.

So, Camus, are you one of those women who loves to be pregnant? I was happy about the upcoming babies but really didn't like the process of pregnancy much at all.

Meh. Not particularly. It’s been a mixed bag. With my first I had a blocked ureter and needed a nephrostomy tube in my back that had to be surgically changed out every two weeks for my entire third trimester, which was awful. I considered my self far too young to have a pee bag strapped to my leg, lol. Second pregnancy was mostly uneventful, but really difficult with a toddler with speech and language problems at home with me all day. This time, I could have went either way but my husband reallllly wanted one more, so I decided I’d be generous. 😛 Giving up the booze for a year is no picnic. I’ll be relieved to have my tubes tied after this one. I’m too old to be having accidents. 😂 Did you have especially difficult pregnancies, or just the usual awfulness?

Pregnancies really weren't awful but my labors and deliveries were unpleasant.
In labor almost 24 hours with number 1 - water broke and the pitocin was a fail. The syringe broke when they tried to do an epidural, 45 years later I still have a spot that keeps scabbing over on my spine. Just at the point that they were going to wheel me in for a C-section things went into high gear and I was able to have her without surgery.
Second one I almost had in the car...so close that I had her naturally (as in no fucking drugs), which was NOT the plan.
Third one they induced but he decided to be facing the wrong way and I spent hours pacing around the maternity ward till he finally turned. Then I was hemorrhaging so badly a few hours later that they called the doctor for emergency surgery and once again my body fixed itself.
Wouldn't want to do it again for love nor money.
My oldest had a horrifying delivery that changed her wanting lots of babies to 'Yeah, one's enough for me, thanks.'

Oh, that’s terrible!!! Hemorrhaging must have been so scary, I’m sorry you had to go through that. I can’t imagine being in labor for 24 hours. And I’m with you; fuck this ‘au naturale’ bullshit. I made them give me an epidural at 9 cm dilated with my second. Zero regrets! 😂

FSM, as always, foretold your baby's arrival.

This is amazing.

It will probably be equal amounts of both if she’s anything like me. 😉
