You don't just sent busloads of people to someone's house. If it were okay, draw a name out of the hat. There are a lot of people in TX with the means to help.

Perhaps more importantly, is Lek seriously comparing Latin-American civilians peacefully (if not exactly legally) crossing the border to another nation attacking the US?

Anyone with 1/2 a brain knows that the Republican Governor of Texas sent these people to the Democratic VP if the US as a dick measuring display. Abbott not once considered the wellbeing of the people he shipped off. It was a PR ploy to keep the GOP in Texas, and elsewhere, to continue to shove their noses up his ass.

Hell, if your concern is that it's freezing in Texas, why not send those buses to someplace like California or New Mexico or even Western Colorado? All three are sanctuary states, they're closer to Texas than Washington, and (most germane to the weather concerns) they actually have areas that aren't affected by the winter storm. Hell, there's even parts of Oregon that aren't affected.
