Sadly enough, I think some research proved that shows like The daily show are more informative than mainstream media, and people who watch Fox News tend to be less informed than people who watch no news.

Unfortunately Fox is not satire. The Cobert Report was satire, and more factual in it's Satire. Fox is a propaganda channel.
