Not it's not as if they should only have to pay what they can afford. They shouldn't be driven further into poverty over it and as I just pointed out rich countries benefit from that damage as well.

Poor countries should be punished for global warming they caused.

No, they should not be. Dealing with climate change should not be a punishment for anyone. That's not a solution to the problem.

That's unfair. They are destroying our planet.

Nope, it's fair as everyone is destroying the planet and our goal shouldn't be a punishment but solving the problem. Making poor countries even worst off helps no one.

It's unfair because developing countries emit 73% of CO2 and should pay $44 trillion. Poor countries are the worst offenders and should be punished accordingly. It is the right thing to do.

Doesn't matter how much they produce. They should only have to pay what they can. Poor countries shouldn't be punished (no one should be punished) instead the right thing to do is to work together and solve the issue as that helps everyone. Impoverishing them is simply wrong.

That doesn't make any sense. Developing countries emit 73% of CO2. Destruction of environment is a serious crime. Of course they should be punished and pay for harm they caused.

It makes perfect sense. It doesn't matter what percentage they make punishing them and impoverishing them isn't a solution. All countries working within their means is a solution. Climate solutions should not be about retribution.

No, you are by thinking of making poor countries even poorer will deal with climate change and that who made the most CO2 honestly matters in face of a global crisis that effects everyone and proposing a ridiculous policy of retribution that serves no one in the end.
