Yeah, there is the problem with neither one of us wanting children. I don't care what the needs of the many are. I'm not doing that shit. I'll raise a little orphan or two if there are some left behind, but carrying one is definitely out of the question. The no doctors alive bit is off-putting as well.

Could you imagine the future of the human race if we were the only two people left to propagate? We'd spend the rest of eternity nervous and avoiding each other. I think Phae is just randy enough for ya. Heh, I would if it wasn't for the fact that I'm completely in love with the freedom I have. Stress-free life. Little to no commitments or responsibility. Also, lots of free time. Won't get much of that with kids to look after. ![]()

Mankind's intelligence walks hand in hand with it's stupidity. Being an atheist says nothing about your overall intelligence, it just means you don't believe in god. Atheists can be as bright as any scientist and as stupid as any creationist. You never really know just how stupid someone is, until you've argued with them.
Yeah, the whole kid thing is a tough topic. It's hard as hell. Not gonna lie. Is it all worth it? Ask me in 10 years as today I'd say no but that's simply because my 3 year old is the spawn of satan. Or maybe the spawn of satan combined with barnie as he's either sweet as pie or evil and insane depending on his mood.
He's up for rental if you guys wanna test out the whole kid issue. ![]()
I'm totally gald that I blissed out as a single dude for over 8 years; yeah I got lonely sometime and the few times I did get laid were great, but I'm totally ready to be married now. I've heard people bum out while married because they never did "those things" refering to partying and whatnot. Well, I did plenty of whatnot with whosit, so I can never say I didn't live for myself. I think most people who "feel sorry" for single people have a kind of jeaolousy for their freedom and a will to convert them to non-single to share in the misery.

After watching my uncle and aunty trying to take care of them, I can say I really can't see a day where I'd have any of my own. A couple of mates of mine constantly moan about the stress and work loads. Quite happy with how things are now. No stress, no commitments, lots of free time and no responsibility. Perfect. ![]() Quote: I think most people who "feel sorry" for single people have a kind of jeaolousy for their freedom and a will to convert them to non-single to share in the misery.Misery loves company.

I didn't meet my husband until I was 26 so I had *plenty* of fun before that. I am so glad as I have 0 regrets. It's all about the timing. (edited as I was 26... lmao.. not 28 when we met... oops.. getting old sux).
Oh yeah so, not to say that being in a relationship is miserable, but there is a misery that only a steady relationship can bring you. Like I tell the wife before, during, or after sex, "The sweet isn't as sweet without the sour" then I slap her ass whapah! There is a reason that they don't make rollercoasters flat.
And about kids... they are a handful. My wife came with two kids, one boy, one girl 9 and 8 respectively. They both have ADD, and had severe emotion problems when I met them. I can say that including them in my life has brought a lot of annoying shit that I would rather not deal with, but the payoff comes in large doses when I see them succeed at something they have failed at previously and knowing that their success was made possible with my help. The cry of, "Daddy!" when I walk in the door and the attention they pay me is what offsets any trouble that might come with children. RE: Member Photos

Yep, it would be quite boring it was all ups and no downs (referring to the relationship part... but can be applied to either). It's all part of the fun! You just have to find someone that gives you more ups so the few downs are easily worth dealing with. I found mine. And here he is...
Damn, that pic is huge... maybe I should do as an attachment instead.... hmmmm... done and done
I had trousers just like that....in the 90s.
No really, I did, my whole crowd were into chinos. You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid. Tinkety Tonk and down with the Nazis. |
