From my understanding, has it not been decades, half a century, even, of both sides fighting one another with no indication of either side willing to concede to the other for peace?

I always trace it the beginning: there was no "Israel" in the past, Israel was manufactured by Britain after WW1 on top of Palestinian lands

Most of the people Hamas killed or kidnapped were not even alive when Israeli was founded so calling them invaders is stupid. How many generations does the title invader last? After all the Palestinians (Canaanites)were invaders once too.
