Who counts as queer?

RE: Who counts as queer?
People aren't really queer unless they want to be, I guess.

It's a pride thing, I think. Some people are proud to be gay, bisexual, trans, whatever. This, in my mind, is what makes them queer. They stand out because they want to stand out, they want to be noticed for being gay/bisexual/trans whatever.

To clarify, I'm not asking who belongs under the Pride umbrella, I'm asking who belongs under the LGBTQ+ umbrella.

For example, almost everyone will agree that a gay man is LGBTQ+.
Same with a transwoman.

But is an asexual man LGBTQ+?
Or is a heterosexual polyamorous throuple?

I hope that clarifies what I'm asking.

If your posts bother me isn't part of that observation.

Does being asked questions bother you?

Yes, if the observation (and related question) is easily read as a character attack.  The word 'obsessed' is loaded.  Your message was written such that it read as an insult.

I would characterise your post as being rude.
It also seems a derail from the OP.
I see no reason why you act in such a manner.  It seems unprovoked.

Regardless, I'm happy to discuss any issue related to the OP you wish to raise.
So, you don't like to be questioned.  When you make your posts you must expect total agreement.

I am blunt.  If you see that as rude...that's up to you.

Carry on...I'm out.  I will talk with people who aren't so sensitive.

No, I like to be questioned and I don't expect total agreement.

I see you as being rude here, yes. I guess that's up to me, but that seems a weirdly responsibility-evading response. I mean, I could call you all kinds of names and then say it's up to you if you choose to see that as being insulting.

But, yes, ok we can ignore each other if you dislike talking to me in a civil manner.

Additionally, characterising me as sensitive is also just thinly-veiled rudeness. And, weirdly, equates sensitivity with something inappropriate or wrong. And is also quite false. I just don't waste time with unprofitable interlocutors, and uncivil discussion is unprofitable. I have little emotional upset over this.

Sad thing is that as a member of staff I really can't totally ignore you.  One of the suckier parts of the job.

I am not going to sugarcoat what I say to not ruffle your feathers.

If they say they're queer, fine, they're queer. I'm straight and uninterested in pigeonholing folks, because I really don't care who or what they're fucking.

No, I don't think so.

OK. What do you need clarified?
Is it the terms, or the question?
