The Official Television Thread
RE: The Official Television Thread
I'm watching Longmire and it feels like I'm watching a long Levi's commercial because everyone is wearing at least Levi's pants and some even a Levi's shirt and they are wearing it like they tell us to wear it in Levi's ads.

Nevertheless, it's your typical cop procedural show: they find a dead body at the beginning and then go and talk to the whole chain of people until they find the guilty one.

But I guess it's the closest thing we'll get to a TV show about Park Rangers. I would really want to watch a show about Park Rangers but it seems that show would resemble more Baywatch when it comes to seriousness than your average cop show. The episode would be like Park Rangers find a dead bear with a used condom in it's asshole and then try to find the suspects.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

It's on Netflix, labeled as a Western, but I'm checking out the first episode to see if it can provide a distraction.

Just finished season 12 of Greys' Anatomy. Not sure if I will move on to the next season tonight or not.

If/when I ever finish I need to find some books to listen to. I have six credits to spend.

Waiting for when the seasons get shorter. Because I know they do.

The first episode was okay. I've got the show on my list and will return to it in the future.

Grey's has added female gay to the show. Makes me wonder if in a future season there will be a gay male.
