A simple poll. Do you believe in free will?

Damn I forgot to turn on the option to show who voted. Maybe a mod can help me.

To me free will is both loaded and ultimately meaningless term, used to give a christian god "get out of jail" card. I would say that we have ability to choose but our choices are constrained by context, upbringing, available information, wealth, position in society... It is fair to say that some people have more options but to say that some have more free will seems absurd, as one either have it or not.
The first revolt is against the supreme tyranny of theology, of the phantom of God. As long as we have a master in heaven, we will be slaves on earth.

I'm pragmatic when it comes to free will. When it feels like I have it then I have it. When it doesn't feel like I have it then I don't.
Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

I don't think free will is as important as people seem to think. I'd feel something was wrong if my decisions weren't consistent with reasons that I already possessed. So what is free will good for? I think it's more about whether people feel in control of their actions and whether we are morally responsible for our actions. How free will plays into those two questions is more important than a simple thumbs up or down. I don't think free will is necessary for either, but many think otherwise.
